🧶 My season of starting is going strong!

Hello! How are you? Did you start anything new over the long weekend? I’ve done nothing but start knitting projects lately! 🤪🤣

Every idea that crosses my mind gets cast on these days. I’m calling it my season of starting.

I’m mostly just calling it that in my head when I’m contemplating the situation. I really hope it’s followed by a season of knitting and then a season of finishing. 🫠

There’s no progress because all my knitting time is being eaten up by the starting! I just counted and I have 8 knitting projects and one crochet project going right now. 🫣 At least 5 of them are things that I intend to finish.

Luckily, there’s a couple days of car knitting coming up for me. Let’s see how I do when my yarn stash isn’t calling to me from the corner of the room.

I did get some bamboo yarn to knit myself a new wrap, like I was telling you about last week. The woman at Michaels asked me “What are you making to match your hair?” It was a highlight of my week.

I can’t think of anything else interesting, so I guess I’ll go work on it now! Reply and let me know: are you a serial starter or do you finish one project before you start the next?

Thanks for being here!

Hello! How has your week been? My week has been... how should I say it... eventful. 😬 To start with, Bruno had a botfly under his skin! It was disgusting and so sad. And it took some time for the vet to figure out what it was, so lots of cone time. I don't know if you can tell from photos, but Bruno has the neck of a giraffe. We tried a cone that was tiny enough to fit around his neck and he could reach right around it. Then we tried combining a stuffed donut with the little cone. No luck....

Hey there! How are you!?! I’m feeling invigorated this week! I took last week off for a staycation. After a long, lazy summer, I had some housekeeping to do. Fall is my favorite season, and September through December are my busiest/funnest months of the year. I like to head into this time prepared, so I can really enjoy it. Chris and I spent the week cleaning, hanging art, setting up the bones of my art studio, and getting out Halloween decorations. And we topped it off with a concert! We saw...

Hello! Friday again! How was your week? I have one more ear to put on my Cat Hat! Wait ‘til you see what I did. 🫣 When I took it out to finally finish, there were 3 sizes of needles in the project bag. And I, of all people, didn’t have a project sheet in there with the details! But I did remember taking a picture to show you my progress previously. So I got out the picture and all the needles in my project bag, and compared them! It actually worked!!! So then I started picking up the stitches...
