Hello and Happy Friday! How was your week? Are you gearing up for summer? My kids are almost out of school and I can’t wait for the world to slow down a little. I wore this wrap for the first time in ages this week. Now I want another one! 🤣🤪 I want to make it in all one yarn and make it a little wider by adding stitches in multiples of 10. It’s a really versatile piece, which I’m totally in to right now. I also love how the tapered ends make it drape nicer than a straight rectangle. I originally designed this for a collab with Matchmaker Yarns, so mine is knit in the 3 yarns from the kit that were inspired by the painting The Kiss. If I make myself a new one, I’ll obviously use something with pink. 🤪 I shared my views on weaving in ends and following the rules of knitting this week. Check it out here. That’s about all I have for you this week. Have a great weekend! If you want more… Browse my Etsy shop See all my patterns on Ravelry |

Hey there! How has your week been? I’m feeling so much lighter this week. I finally did it. I broke up with the bamboo yarn for good. I’m so much happier. Now that I’m free to start something I actually want to make, I’m going to start a new sample of my Cat Hat. It’s due for a refresh in a different yarn. My plan is to use some leftover Germantown worsted that I have on hand. I’ll let you know how it goes next week. If you missed it last week, I made a new free resource for you. It’s called...
Hey there! How have you been? I hope you're getting more knitting done than I am! 🤣🤪 I'm just going to blame it on summer! I did do a different creative thing, though. I made you something! It's called The Rule Breaker's Permission Slip and Finishing Matrix. And it also has a Frog Log inside! My favorite part is the Finishing Matrix. It's a tool to help you decide just how much effort you should put into weaving ends, blocking, etc. for any particular project. You know I like to cut corners...
Hello, how are you!?! Are you working on anything fun? I’d love to hear about it. Send pics! I finally finished the front (or back) of the bamboo mesh sweater. I think I’m just going to make it sleeveless so I can be done with it sooner. I’ve tried so many different things with this bamboo yarn. I’m never going to like it. I’ll either use the rest on something like fringe or tassels, or I’ll give it to one of my kids who crochet. At least I know I gave it a fair shot before breaking up with...
