🧶 I made you something!

Hey there! How have you been? I hope you're getting more knitting done than I am! 🤣🤪 I'm just going to blame it on summer!

I did do a different creative thing, though. I made you something! It's called The Rule Breaker's Permission Slip and Finishing Matrix. And it also has a Frog Log inside!

My favorite part is the Finishing Matrix. It's a tool to help you decide just how much effort you should put into weaving ends, blocking, etc. for any particular project. You know I like to cut corners on finishing when it won't matter! 🤣🤪

You can find the page to download it here. As long as you put in the same email address that I sent this email to, you won't get double emails from me.

If you know any knitters who like to have fun, forward them this email and they can get The Rule Breaker's Permission Slip right here ⬇️

I also got the Start Here page on my website looking a little more complete. Check it out!

Speaking of not getting any knitting done this summer... I'm going to do a workshop where we each knit a sweater without a pattern, based on our own measurements and whatever size yarn we want. I think November will be a perfect time to get it done. Then we'll have fresh new sweaters to wear all winter long! Stay tuned, I'll get more details to you as I formulate my plan!

In the meantime, I hope you find time to work on something fun this weekend!

Reply to this email and let me know what you think of The Rule Breaker's Permission Slip after you download it here.

Thanks for being here!

Hello! How has your week been? My week has been... how should I say it... eventful. 😬 To start with, Bruno had a botfly under his skin! It was disgusting and so sad. And it took some time for the vet to figure out what it was, so lots of cone time. I don't know if you can tell from photos, but Bruno has the neck of a giraffe. We tried a cone that was tiny enough to fit around his neck and he could reach right around it. Then we tried combining a stuffed donut with the little cone. No luck....

Hey there! How are you!?! I’m feeling invigorated this week! I took last week off for a staycation. After a long, lazy summer, I had some housekeeping to do. Fall is my favorite season, and September through December are my busiest/funnest months of the year. I like to head into this time prepared, so I can really enjoy it. Chris and I spent the week cleaning, hanging art, setting up the bones of my art studio, and getting out Halloween decorations. And we topped it off with a concert! We saw...

Hello! Friday again! How was your week? I have one more ear to put on my Cat Hat! Wait ‘til you see what I did. 🫣 When I took it out to finally finish, there were 3 sizes of needles in the project bag. And I, of all people, didn’t have a project sheet in there with the details! But I did remember taking a picture to show you my progress previously. So I got out the picture and all the needles in my project bag, and compared them! It actually worked!!! So then I started picking up the stitches...
