Hello! How has your week been?

My week has been... how should I say it... eventful. 😬

To start with, Bruno had a botfly under his skin! It was disgusting and so sad. And it took some time for the vet to figure out what it was, so lots of cone time.

I don't know if you can tell from photos, but Bruno has the neck of a giraffe.

We tried a cone that was tiny enough to fit around his neck and he could reach right around it. Then we tried combining a stuffed donut with the little cone. No luck. This boy has some reach with that neck! So we put him in some jammies. That kept him from licking, but then there was the concern of the jammies rubbing on it.

LOOK WHAT WE ENDED UP DOING!!!!

The outer cone was as big as his whole body!

After the Bruno situation, my youngest 2 kids started school. Two different schools. That's always a fun, busy week. AND THEN, on the same day, my oldest kid broke their foot!

It's been a whirlwind!

Since Bruno is much more willing for me to share his personal life than my human children, I'll talk about him some more! 🤣🤪

Bruno is my full-time knitting partner. He's darn good at it, too! In honor of him being back in business, I dug up a collection of photos of Bruno hard at work. Take a peek at the cuteness! Just for fun, each pic links to something related or semi-related to something in the pic.

I also started getting all my craft supplies put away in my new studio this week. I am so excited to get in there and start making stuff!!! The first thing I unpacked was my yarn, obviously. I think I'll take stock of some of my WIPs and see what I want to finish and what I want to quit. I definitely want to finish my popcorn ceiling sweater now that it's almost cool enough to wear it!

I tried to find an old email where I told you about my popcorn ceiling cardigan, but I can't find one! I'm knitting a white textured cardigan and I've crocheted glow-in-the-dark stars to attach to it! It's going to be so ME! As soon as I dig it out to finish, I'll send you some pics!
