🧶 What happens when you forget to check the pattern

Hello! Another week has flown by! Did you work on anything fun this week? I started and almost finished my new Cat Hat sample. As you can see from my margin notes, I missed something right from the start. 🤣🤪 This pattern has a set up row where you add a couple of stitches after the ribbing and I completely forgot them! I thought to myself “it’s no big deal, I’ll just skip 2 decreases on the first decrease round.” Which I totally remembered to do. 💪🏼 But then when I was placing stitch markers to mark the placement of the ears, I noticed something was off. Do you see it? Here’s a hint: count the stripes. 😳😩 I missed a full 10 rounds! I ripped it back to the last round before the decreases and did it right. But I didn’t go back to the set up round and add the 2 stitches! It’s important to know just how far you’re willing to go for a project. I’m sure I’ll have it done to show you by next week.
